3DDesign BMW G07 X7 Aero Program

The G07 X7 is BMW’s newest flagship in their SUV lineup and with that comes an aesthetic that rightfully reflects that position. That said, there is certainly room for improvement; 3DDesign has worked their magic to create a polyurethane front lip spoiler and roof spoiler—both of which add a refined, yet sporting character to the SUV.

We always talk about making a good first impression and 3DDesign’s front lip spoiler certainly achieves that in spades. The lip manages to be both subtle, yet aggressive—in part because its polyurethane construction requires paint matching, but also because the styling exercise largely echoes the factory body lines quite well. It very much feels like a natural extension of the M-Sport cues.

If the front lip spoiler is the first impression, then the 3DDesign G07’s roof spoiler is a lasting one. The factory piece is so small compared to the X7’s proportions that you’d be hard pressed to even know its there. Because of that, the X7 visually appears bottom-heavy; the 3DDesign roof spoiler juts out far enough to bring a much welcomed balance to the rear end of the SUV, again carrying through BMW’s cues to accentuate rather than distract from the factory’s aesthetic aim.
