Ferrari F8 Tributo Exhaust & Carbon Accessories
The long awaited Capristo portfolio for the Ferrari F8 starts now, featuring their iconic carbon fiber and glass rear bonnet highlighting the Type F142MFL 710-hp twin-turbocharged V8 engine in its full glory. Further complementing the decklid is the OEM matching carbon fiber engine bay accessories to replace the factory plastics . And of course for those looking for additional on-track performance from their F8, Capristo is offering a valved exhaust and downpipe options.
The CAPRISTO valved exhaust on the F8 offers the best of both worlds through its capability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration, and a more subdued sound for city driving. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation the valves are closed diverting the gases through a smaller diameter piping to produce a deeper exhaust note. The system eliminates the heavy and restrictive factory muffler, thus at wide-open throttle with the valves open you can truly release the full symphony of the engine.
The opening or closing of the CAPRISTO valves are controlled by the engine ECU, therefore working in the same way that the original exhaust was designed to function. The OEM vacuum pipes fit directly into the CAPRISTO valve system.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured utilizing advanced 3D laser-scanning, computer-aided design, digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at their factory in Germany. Each system is made of high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).
