Dinan Valved Axleback Exhaust
The F60/F54 MINI S ALL4 may be a utilitarian vehicle designed to accomplish a variety of tasks but it still embodies the pep and nimbleness most commonly associated with the brand. This sporty underpinning coupled with its diverse abilities make it a popular seller, rivaling even the flagship Cooper S. Unfortunately, the Countryman is often ignored by the aftermarket despite this popularity and a marketplace that is starving for quality performance parts that the diminutive F56 hatchback enjoys. Enter Dinan, and an exhaust solution that will make any Cooper S driver envious.
The Dinan F60/F54 exhaust system offers a dramatically improved exhaust note, along with additional capabilities above and beyond the stock muffler, that set the system apart from the factory… and the competition. In order to achieve desired sound volume and tone the tubing is first enlarged to 70mm (vs 65mm stock) to allow freer flow throughout the entirety of the system. The larger tubing is fed into a muffler that is typical of all Dinan exhaust design and utilizes absorption technologies designed to improve exhaust flow and reduce back pressure. The combination results in increased power output and a great sporty sound complete with the signature MINI exhaust pops. Unlike the factory system that relies solely on driving modes and the muffler itself to control audible content, the Dinan system incorporates an electronic valve into its design, complete with a user controlled key fob. Now, you can dictate when you want to be civilized and close the valves for a subdued/tasteful ride, or when to open the valve and allow the system to achieve full glory unimpeded by restriction right from the cabin with a press of a button. Even with the valve open, thereby making the system a straight pipe system, the Countryman S free flow exhaust is engineered to reduce low-RPM drone so the cabin of the vehicle is still intimate and not drowned in an excessively loud tone. With the Dinan exhaust equipped on the F60 you get a system that allows both the ‘utilitarian’ and the ‘sport’ to be achieved in one solution — all controlled by you.
While sound is the primary reason for any exhaust purchase, the styling and craftsmanship also play an important role for the discerning buyer. The Dinan F60/F54 S ALL4 exhaust has been skillfully crafted entirely out of T304 stainless steel and TIG welded for the best visual appearance and color. The entire system is then brush-finished to further guarantee an immaculate looking system out of the box. The attention to detail is not limited to parts of the system you can’t see once the exhaust is installed but is also extended to the exhaust tips themselves. The Dinan exhaust sports enormous, dual 4″ (102mm) clamp-on, double-walled, black ceramic coated and laser engraved exhaust tips. Dinan has retained its signature straight cut tip design, safeguarding its unique and elegant styling position, amongst a marketplace dominated by angle cuts. The tips masterfully fill up and accentuate upon the factory cut-outs showcasing an extremely aggressive, yet refined, styling that will turn heads even before it is heard.
Features/Benefits:
- More Power: + 5 HP @ 6000 RPM, + 4 LB-FT @ 6000 RPM
- Enjoyably louder, sportier sound
- Dual 4″ (102mm) double-walled, clamp-on black ceramic coated tips with laser engraved Dinan logo
- 100% 304 Stainless Steel Construction
- Larger diameter piping for increased flow (70mm vs 65mm)
- Includes electronically controlled exhaust valve with key fob remote which allows manual control of exhaust sound

Dinan Monoballs
An underrated component of a proper driver’s suspension the monoball kit (tension strut ball joint kit in today’s terminology), is a remnant of an era when road feel was something desirable and sought after. Drivers wanted the visceral feel of being connected to the road as the road-racing heritage of BMW M demanded. Dinan embraced this and over the years mastered its craft into a kit that not only satisfied the desire for proper road feel but also made it livable for everyday driving. While stock suspension properties may have swayed from its golden era lineage to more mainstream ideals, Dinan is here to correct those mistakes for those that want a more M-passioned BMW experience.
The Dinan Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit provides responsiveness you can feel by replacing the rubber bushings in the thrust arms with precision ball joints and machined aluminum housings. Improves responsiveness by eliminating the deflection inherent in the stock rubber bushings while also reducing brake shimmy. The quietest bearings on the market are virtually noise-free so you can live with them every day. These are the only bearings on the market that are sealed using a rubber boot to keep out dirt and road grime stopping them from wearing out prematurely.
Features/Benefits:
- Improved steering responsiveness.
- Reduces brake shimmy.
- Nylon-lined bearings for quiet operation.
- Machined aluminum housings.
- Sealed bearings that are the quietest on the market.

The Porsche GT3 RS intake has been designed to offer a more efficient flow path to the engine in comparison to the OEM airbox. Utilizing Eventuri’s Patented Venturi Housing Concept, airflow is able to negotiate through the filters with a much less tortuous path thus reducing the drag of the system. Furthermore by increasing the overall volume in the intake, the maximum flow capacity has also been increased.
The ducts channels ambient air from the side vents to the filter housing. In order to ensure a good seal against engine bay heat – they are secured to the filter housing at 3 points and use a neoprene gasket for an airtight seal. The ducts were designed to have the maximum internal volume possible within the given geometry of the engine bay. This ensures that the filter housing is able to draw with minimum restriction.
A FOCUS ON PERFORMANCE
Eventuri conducted flow rate tests using a Superflow SF-1020 to measure the maximum flow rate possible at a pressure drop of 28” H2O. Tests were done on the same day in controlled conditions using the same test jig for each system. The full intake system was tested against the stock airbox system. The results show an increase of maximum flow by an additional 120 CFM over the OEM airbox. Importantly this has been achieved with a sealed intake system so the intake temperatures will also be maintained at a minimum.
Eventuri’s GT3 RS Intake has also been independently tested by ES Motors who build high powered Porsches in the UK. Tests were again done on the same day back to back using a chassis dyno. As can be seen, there is a measurable gain throughout the RPM range, not just at peak which is more important as the increased area under the graph demonstrates that the intake is making an impact beyond the headline figures. This gain even on a stock car is noticeable on the road with better throttle response and quicker acceleration.
